10 Best Players of the Week (2/18-2/24)

( NOTE: If you're wondering where guys like Anthony Davis & James Harden are, they only played one game this past week, and I only include people who played at least two games during the week, so they weren't eligible for the list. The same goes for players like LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy this week's edition of the 10 Best Players of the Week!) With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Devin Booker Unless you've been living under a rock since October, you'd know that things have been going about as bad as possible for the Phoenix Suns. Currently holding an 18-43 record on the season, the Suns find themselves at the bottom of both the Western Conference and

Victor Oladipo Heading into the All-Star break, the Indiana Pacers continue to be one of the most surprising teams in all of the league. After trading away Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder, everyone expected them to fall flat on their faces. However, they actually have a better record than the Thunder right now, as they currently sit with a 33-25 record on the year, putting them in the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference. Their surprise success has largely been due to the man they traded Paul George for; Victor Oladipo. This week was no different, as the first-time all-star led the Pacers to two wins to head into the All-Star break. For the week, Oladipo averaged 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 4.

10 Best Players of the Week (2/4-2/10)

If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Zach LaVine Let's be honest; nobody expected anything out of the Chicago Bulls this season. Officially going into rebuild mode following the Jimmy Butler trade and the Dwyane Wade buyout, the Bulls find themselves with a young roster that has potential to be great in the future, but not right now, and their 19-36 record on the season right now shows that. But as I said, things are looking good for the Bulls in the future, as several players have shown promise this season. And one player who just started showing promise was Zach LaVine. After missing the first three months of the season while recovering from a torn ACL, LaVine returned in January and this past week proved why the Bulls would give up their best pl

TRADE ALERT: The Cleveland Cavaliers Made Four Trades in One Day

Considering how the Cleveland Cavaliers have been having a pretty rough season. considered one of the best teams in the NBA just last season, the Cavaliers aren't even a top-five team in the league right now, as they currently sit with a 30-21 record on the season and with the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference, just half a game ahead of the 4th seed Washington Wizards. They've struggled with inconsistency over the last few months and several players (Isaiah Thomas & Jae Crowder to name a few) have been woefully under-performing. It was clear changes they need to be made, and with the trade deadline being today, they needed to be made quickly. And they did. The day before the trade deadline, the Cavaliers made four separate trades, sending away six players and a first-round pick for four new players and a second-round pick. The Cavs sent Isaiah Thomas & Channing Frye to the Los Angeles Lakers for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr., Derrick Rose & Jae Crowder to

If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Bradley Beal Fresh off his first career all-star selection and the loss of John Wall to a knee injury, Bradley Beal was set out to prove that he could be a leader for the Washington Wizards. And he succeeded...for this week, at least. Under Beal's leadership, this past week saw the Wizards go a perfect 3-0, helping them boost their record to 30-22 on the season, just half a game behind the 3rd seed Cleveland Cavaliers. Needless to say, Beal had a strong showing as the top guy in Washington for the week. For the week, Beal averaged 22 points, 6.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 2.3 steals, and a block a game while shooting 46% from the field and 33% from three-point range. Nikola Jokic Unlike Beal, however, one player

15 Best Players of the Month (January 2018)

With another month of the NBA season on the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, let's take a look at the best 15 players from the month of January. If you want to read last month's list, click here . If you want to read all my Players of the Week lists from December, then you can click on the links below. (December 31-January 6) (January 7-January 13) (January 14-January 20) (January 21-January 27) Now let's get into it, these are my picks for the best 15 players of the month of January. Jimmy Butler The further along the season goes, the more the Minnesota Timberwolves look like a team that'll be future NBA Champions. Currently holding a 33-22 record, the Timberwolves sit in the 4th seed in the Western Conference and have the 6th best record in the entire league. The current starting five they have is great right now, but the key factor was the offseason addition of three-time (now four-time) all-star in Jimmy Butler. After a bit of an underwh
