ESPN's Top 10 2010 High School Recruits: 10 Years Later

Normally, I'd wait until after the NBA Draft to post this, but because the world has gone to actual Hell in the last few months, the draft isn't happening until October and frankly, I don't want to wait that long. And because this is my blog and I can do what I want, here we are. It's been ten years since the 2010 recruiting class graduated high school, committed to the colleges of their choices, and made the next step towards the NBA. These 10 players topped the rank of ESPN's top 100 recruits, and today, I'll look at how their professional basketball careers turned out. But before I start, here are some notable players who didn't crack the top 10. Tim Hardaway Jr. ranked 93rd. Hardaway Jr. would commit to Michigan, playing for three seasons before declaring for the 2013 NBA Draft. Hardaway Jr. was selected with the 24th pick in the draft by the New York Knicks. He has played for Knicks, the Atlanta Hawks, and (currently) the Dallas Mavericks over seven sea...

2018 NBA All-Underrated Team

Every season, a bunch of players go overlooked despite putting up some great numbers. It's bound to happen. Not everyone can be an all-star every season. However, they do deserve recognition, and since I made this list last year , I'm doing it again this year. With that out of the way, this is my 2018 NBA All-Underrated team. Point Guard: Tyreke Evans Yes, Tyreke Evans is a point guard. If you disagree, then you're not alone, because multiple NBA teams have played him out of position. Despite the fact that he had a stellar rookie season for the 2009-10 season where he won the Rookie of the Year and averaged 20.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game as a point guard with the Sacramento Kings, the team still moved him to the shooting guard spot. That, combined with a couple of injuries, hurt Evans' development and stock, which resulted in a pretty significant regression on the stat line. This might be why the Grizzlies got him for just $3.2 million for on...

10 Best Players of the Week (2/18-2/24)

( NOTE: If you're wondering where guys like Anthony Davis & James Harden are, they only played one game this past week, and I only include people who played at least two games during the week, so they weren't eligible for the list. The same goes for players like LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan, and Giannis Antetokounmpo. With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy this week's edition of the 10 Best Players of the Week!) With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Devin Booker Unless you've been living under a rock since October, you'd know that things have been going about as bad as possible for the Phoenix Suns. Currently holding an 18-43 record on the season, the Suns find themselves at the bottom of both the Western Conference and ...

TRADE ALERT! Blake Griffin Traded to the Detroit Pistons!

In a move that nobody saw coming, five-time all-star and 2011's Rookie of the Year Blake Griffin has been traded by the Los Angeles Clippers. In a move involving five other players and two draft picks, the Clippers have traded Griffin, along with Willie Reed and Brice Johnson, to the Detroit Pistons for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, a protected 2018 first round pick, and a second-round draft pick. Both teams find themselves just barely out of playoff contention, each sitting in the 9th seed of their conferences, so it looks like both teams are shaking things up to see if they can make a run at the playoffs. The centerpiece of this trade was obviously Blake Griffin. Despite dealing with injuries throughout the season. Griffin has been putting up some great numbers, with some (including me) considering him an all-star snub. For the season so far, Griffin is averaging 22.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game while shooting  44% from the field and 3...
