14 Biggest NBA All-Star Snubs of 2021

In the midst of this unorthodox season, the 2021 NBA All-Star Game is fast approaching. While we won't be getting most of the added events like the Three-Point Contest or the Skills Challenge (and, to be honest, we could probably do without an all-star game this year), the main attraction is still going on, giving us a look at the best the NBA has to offer. However, not everyone gets selected to the big game, and there are always people who get snubbed. So, these are my 14 picks, 7 from the Eastern Conference and 7 from the Western Conference for the biggest all-star snubs of the season. East: Jerami Grant Starting off for the East we have one of the front runners for the Most Improved Player Award in Jerami Grant. The Detroit Pistons have been an absolute disaster this season, but their free-agent signing this past offseason in Grant has paid off huge, as he's gone from a supporting cast member to a legit first option in one season. For the season, Grant has averaged 23.3 poin...

Top 10 Players of the Week (11/25-12/1)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Marc Gasol The race for the top spot in the Western Conference remains tight as six teams are within two games of eachother. One of those teams that has flown a bit under the radar is the Memphis Grizzlies, who currently hold a 13-9 record on the season and are two games out of first place. They might've been better off had they not gone 1-2 this past week, but they're still in good shape. Leading the way for the Grizzlies were two players. The first of which is Marc Gasol, who is currently having arguably the best season of his career. For the week, Gasol averaged 23 points, 9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2 steals, and 3.3 blocks per game while shooting 59% from the field and a great 56% from three-point range.  ...

Top 10 Players of the Week (11/18-11/24)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Andre Drummond While they aren't having a great season so far, the start of the year has to be seen as a positive for the Detroit Pistons. After posting a sub-.500 record this past year, the Pistons have been able to put up a 9-7 record, giving them the fifth-best record in the Eastern Conference. This past week, the Pistons were able to go 2-1 behind the strong play of their frontcourt. The first member of that frontcourt I'll talk about is Andre Drummond, who is having the best season of his career right now, and this week was no different. For the week, Drummond averaged 22 points, 15.7 rebounds, a steal and 3 blocks per game while shooting 55% from the field. Drummond's best performance of the week c...

Top 10 Players of the Week (10/28-11/3)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. DeMar DeRozan As the season continues to move forward, the more it looks like the DeMar DeRozan-Kawhi Leonard trade was a rare one where both teams won. While the Spurs do have a slightly worse record than the Raptors right now, they still hold a 6-2 record on the season and are currently in third in the Western Conference. This week, the Spurs went a perfect 3-0, and it was mostly thanks to their new star player in DeMar DeRozan. For the week, DeRozan averaged 28.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 58% from the field and a perfect 19/19 from the free throw line. DeRozan's best performance of the week came against the Dallas Mavericks when he dropped 34 points, 6 rebounds...

Top 10 Players of the Week (10/21-10/27)

With the first full week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Kevin Durant Despite a loss to kick off the week, the Golden State Warriors are still killing it this season, as everyone expected them to. The Warriors went 3-1 this past week, winning all three of those games by 20 or more points and improving their record to 5-1 on the season and keeping them in the top spot of the Western Conference. Leading the way for the Warriors this past week was two players. The first of which was Kevin Durant, who continued to show why he's one of the top five players in the league this past week. For the week, Durant averaged 28.3 points, 8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game while shooting 59% from the field, 42% from three-point range, and 93% from the free throw line. Duran...

4 NBA Super Teams That Failed Miserably

To say that the NBA is dominated by super teams is about as controversial as saying that the sun is hot. It's well established at this point that in order to even compete for the NBA Championship, you're going to need at least two all-star caliber players on your roster. Sometimes they are created through the draft, such as the 2000's San Antonio Spurs and (up until 2016) the 2010's Golden State Warriors, and sometimes they are built through trades and free agency, like the Miami Heat's Big 3 or the 2008 Champions in the Boston Celtics. However, not every super team works out, and some crash and burn almost as quickly as they were formed. Whether they struggled to mesh together or a superstar or two just couldn't get along, these are four NBA super teams that failed miserably. 2017-18 Oklahoma City Thunder Starting off we have the most recent example of an NBA superteam that failed hard in the Oklahoma City Thunder from this past season. Two years prior t...

With another month of the NBA season on the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, let's take a look at the best 15 players from the month of March. Blake Griffin While the Detroit Pistons season ended in disappointment, as they'll be missing the playoffs for the second season in a row, but they do have something to look forward to. Andre Drummond had arguably the best season of his career and dominated on the glass all season long, Luke Kennard showed promise from beyond the arc, and a defensive trio of Drummond, Stanley Johnson, and Eric Moreland nearly landed them in the top ten for team defense. All of those p...
