NBA Team of the Week (3/21/21-3/27/21)

It's Monday, you know what that means! It's time to take a look back at the past week and see who the best players were around the league. Selections are based mostly on the player's stats, but (minus the rookie of the week) their team's record during the week is also taken into consideration. Click here to check out last week's if you missed it . If not, let's get into this. Point Guard: De'Aaron Fox As they're on the hunt for their first playoff appearance since 2006, the Sacramento Kings haven't had the best season. Coming into this past week at 17-25, they were well out of playoff contention. This week, however, the Kings were red hot, going a perfect 4-0 and improving their record to 21-25 on the year. While they're still out of the playoff hunt right now, sitting at 11th in the West and a game behind Warriors for the final spot in the play-in tournament. The Kings had two standout performers this week, and the first I'll be talking abo...

NBA Team of the Week (2/21/21-2/27/21)

Selections are based mostly on the player's stats, but (minus the rookie of the week) their team's record during the week is also taken into consideration. Point Guard: Stephen Curry After their disaster of a 2019-20 season, the Golden State Warriors have been able to rebound nicely this year. They're not the absolute powerhouse they were for most of the 2010s, largely due to the departure of Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson's injury, but they now find themselves with a 19-15 record, the 7th best in the West, after a perfect 3-0 record this week. Despite the struggles this season, the Warriors are holding a winning record, and it's largely thanks to Stephen Curry, especially this week. For the week, the two-time MVP averaged 30 point...

NBA Team of the Week (1/31/21-2/6/21)

If not, let's get into this. Point Guard: Luka  Dončić The Dallas Mavericks have been disappointing this year. After playing .500 basketball to start the season, the Mavericks fell off hard at the end of January and into February, losing six straight and dropping 8-13. This past week was a better look for the team, as they went 2-2, but they still find themselves in a hole at 10-14, the second-worst record in the West. Thankfully, Luka  Dončić didn't go into a slump like the team did as a whole, as he has remained one of the best point guards in the league. This week was no different, as he averaged 30.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 9.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 43% from the field and 43% from three-point range.  Dončić would cap off the week by matching a car...

NBA Team of the Week (12/27/20-1/2/21)

It's Monday, you know what that means! It's time to take a look back at the past week and see who the best players were around the league. Click here to check out last week's if you missed it . If not, let's get into this. Point Guard: Stephen Curry After a rough start to the season, the Golden State Warriors have been able to rebound somewhat this past week, picking up their first two wins of the season after going 2-1. They're still at the bottom of the West with a 2-3 record on the year and have some glaring issues that need to be fixed (I'm looking at you, Kelly Oubre Jr. and your 4% three-point shooting), but things are looking a lot better than they did a week ago. A big part of that was, unsurprisingly, Stephen Curry, who has had to take on the role as the team's sole all-star at the moment, and this week, he didn't disappoint. For the week, Curry averaged 31 points, 5 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 47% from the fiel...
