Top 10 Players of the Week (11/4-11/10)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. John Wall The Washington Wizards have been an utter dumpster fire to kick off the season. While they've avoided the bottom of the Eastern Conference (mostly thanks to fellow dumpster fire the Cleveland Cavaliers), they currently hold an abysmal 3-9 record on the season. While they did manage to go 2-2 on the week, but they are still in the bottom three of the East. While the Wizards' season has been pretty bad, John Wall himself is having a solid season for himself, with this week, in particular, being one of his strongest of the season so far. For the week, Wall averaged 24.3 points, 9.5 assists, and 2.8 steals per game while shooting 46% from the field and 40% from three-point range. Maybe the Wizards can ...

Top 10 Players of the Week (10/28-11/3)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. DeMar DeRozan As the season continues to move forward, the more it looks like the DeMar DeRozan-Kawhi Leonard trade was a rare one where both teams won. While the Spurs do have a slightly worse record than the Raptors right now, they still hold a 6-2 record on the season and are currently in third in the Western Conference. This week, the Spurs went a perfect 3-0, and it was mostly thanks to their new star player in DeMar DeRozan. For the week, DeRozan averaged 28.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 58% from the field and a perfect 19/19 from the free throw line. DeRozan's best performance of the week came against the Dallas Mavericks when he dropped 34 points, 6 rebounds...

10 Most Improved Players in NBA 2K18 MyTEAM

With the 2017-18 season in the books, that means that we're done with moments cards in NBA 2K18 MyTEAM, at least for the regular season. As with every year, 2K puts out moments cards in MyTEAM when players have standout games during the season, specifically cards that are improvements over their original cards. Some players only go up by one rank, others see huge increases in their stats and overalls, and I'm here to rank him. Whether they are players who were underrated from day one by the developers or players who had great performances out of nowhere, these are the 10 most improved players in NBA 2K18 MyTEAM. Excluded from this list are players who didn't have a card to begin with but were given moments cards during the season like Trey Burke & Michael Beasley. But with that out of the way, let's get into this. Jeff Green Starting off this list we have Jeff Green of the Cleveland Cavaliers. A 10-year veteran drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2007, Green sig...

15 Best Players of the Month (February 2018)

With another month of the NBA season on the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, let's take a look at the best 15 players from the month of February. If you want to read last month's list, click here . If you want to read all my Players of the Week lists from the previous month, then you can click on the links below. (January 28-February 3) (February 4-February 10) (February 11-February 17) (February 18-February 24) Jimmy Butler The Minnesota Timberwolves didn't have a bad February...it just wasn't very good. Going 6-4 over the 28 days of the month, having to face the red-hot Houston Rockets twice during the month probably didn't help their cause, but they still managed to have a couple of strong showings and maintained a winning record for February. After February, Minnesota found itself with a 38-26 record, putting them in 5th place in the Western Conference. However, the end of the month did see them take a big hit, as Jimmy Butler went dow...

10 Best Players of the Week (2/11-2/17)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Victor Oladipo Heading into the All-Star break, the Indiana Pacers continue to be one of the most surprising teams in all of the league. After trading away Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder, everyone expected them to fall flat on their faces. However, they actually have a better record than the Thunder right now, as they currently sit with a 33-25 record on the year, putting them in the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference. Their surprise success has largely been due to the man they traded Paul George for; Victor Oladipo. This week was no different, as the first-time all-star led the Pacers to two wins to head into the All-Star break. For the week, Oladipo averaged 27.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 4....

7 Players Who Should Make the All-Star Reserves (Eastern Conference)

Yesterday, the NBA announced the starters for the 2018 All-Star Game and named leading vote-getters LeBron James & Stephen Curry as the team captains. With 10 all-star spots in the books, that leaves 14 spots left, 7 for each conference. Today, I'm going to give my thoughts on who I think should be the reserves. Starting with the Eastern Conference, here are 7 players I think should make the all-star game. Andre Drummond His team might be having the strongest season so far (the Detroit Pistons are 22-21 on the year), but Andre Drummond has been having a fantastic season. Drummond has been putting up some of the best numbers of his career, is having his best season since his all-star selection in 2016, and has shown a huge improvement in his free throw shooting. For the season so far, Drummond averages 14.5 points, a league & career-high 15 rebounds, a career-high 3.8 assists per game, a career-high 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 54% from the fiel...

If you want to read last month's list, click here . If you want to read all my Players of the Week lists from December, then you can click on the links below. (November 26th-December 2nd) (December 3rd-December 9th) (December 10th-December 16th) (December 17th-December 23rd) (December 24th-December 30th) Now let's get into it, these are my picks for the best 15 players of the month of December. DeMar DeRozan The Toronto Raptors had a great December, going 11-3 on the month and moved up to the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference with a 25-10 record on the year. Leading the way for the Raptors was DeMar DeRozan, who had several huge games as he led the Raptors above the Cleveland Cavaliers in the standings. For the month, DeRozan averaged 25.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game wh...
