2018 NBA All-Underrated Team

Every season, a bunch of players go overlooked despite putting up some great numbers. It's bound to happen. Not everyone can be an all-star every season. However, they do deserve recognition, and since I made this list last year , I'm doing it again this year. With that out of the way, this is my 2018 NBA All-Underrated team. Point Guard: Tyreke Evans Yes, Tyreke Evans is a point guard. If you disagree, then you're not alone, because multiple NBA teams have played him out of position. Despite the fact that he had a stellar rookie season for the 2009-10 season where he won the Rookie of the Year and averaged 20.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game as a point guard with the Sacramento Kings, the team still moved him to the shooting guard spot. That, combined with a couple of injuries, hurt Evans' development and stock, which resulted in a pretty significant regression on the stat line. This might be why the Grizzlies got him for just $3.2 million for on...

The Top 10 2008 High School Recruits: 10 Years Later

Recently I saw a video by YouTuber KTO where he took a look back at the top 10 high football recruits in 2008  and how their careers turned out. So that gave me an idea to take a look at the top 10 high school basketball recruits from the 2008 ESPN 100 and take a look at where they are now 10 years later. Before I start, here are some the players who didn't crack the top 10 that might surprise you considering who did make it. Reggie Jackson ranked #94. Attended Boston College for three years before being drafted with the 24th pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2011. Currently holds career averages of 12.4 points and 4.4 assists with 43% field goal shooting and 31% three-point shooting. Klay Thompson ranked #53. Attended Washington State for three years before being drafted with the 11th pick by the Golden State Warriors in the 2011 draft. Currently holds career averages of 19.2 points and career shooting percentages of 46% from the field and 42% from three-point r...

5 Potential All-Star Replacements for DeMarcus Cousins

I was all prepared to start writing my list for the top all-star snubs...then this happened. Last night, DeMarcus Cousins' MVP-caliber season came to an end following an awkward landing in a game against the Houston Rockets. Cousins ended up tearing his left Achilles tendon, ending his season after 48 games. While this has big implications for the New Orleans Pelicans, this also changes the All-Star game big time, as Cousins was set to start for Team LeBron at the center position. Who will replace Cousins? That's still yet to be decided, so here are five players I think should fill that spot. As for the requirements, I'm not sure exactly how they'll replace Cousins, but for the sake of this list, these are my requirements. They must be from the Western Conference. They must be either a forward or a center. They have to have played in at least half of the games this season. So with that out of the way, let's get into this. These are my picks for potential...

10 Best Players of the Week (12/24-12/30)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Tyreke Evans Even though the Memphis Grizzlies' season has been an utter trainwreck so far (11-25 on the year, the worst record in the West and the second-worst record in the league), this season has seen a huge bounce back for Tyreke Evans. The 2009-10 Rookie of the Year stumbled after his excellent first season but looks to back on track with Memphis. And this week specifically, Evans went above and beyond. For the week, Evans averaged 26.3 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists per game while shooting 49% from the field and 44% from three-point range. Jimmy Butler Following his first great week of the season last week, Jimmy Butler continued to thrive in his new role with the Minnesota Timberwolves, who went 2...
