The 2019-20 NBA season is upon us, and with the first week (well, five days) in the books, it's time to look at who were the best players in the league during that time. Now, in the past I've done the best players of the week and just that. However, I've come to realize that the way I ranked the players favored big men a lot more than guards. That would explain why Dwight Howard was getting player of the week spots over guys like DeMar DeRozan, a player few would argue that Howard was better than in 2018.
