NBA Team of the Week (3/21/21-3/27/21)

It's Monday, you know what that means! It's time to take a look back at the past week and see who the best players were around the league. Selections are based mostly on the player's stats, but (minus the rookie of the week) their team's record during the week is also taken into consideration. Click here to check out last week's if you missed it . If not, let's get into this. Point Guard: De'Aaron Fox As they're on the hunt for their first playoff appearance since 2006, the Sacramento Kings haven't had the best season. Coming into this past week at 17-25, they were well out of playoff contention. This week, however, the Kings were red hot, going a perfect 4-0 and improving their record to 21-25 on the year. While they're still out of the playoff hunt right now, sitting at 11th in the West and a game behind Warriors for the final spot in the play-in tournament. The Kings had two standout performers this week, and the first I'll be talking abo

The Best Undrafted NBA Player From Each Year of the '90s

Well, this did numbers the last time I did it, so let's run it back with some 90s attitude. I've already looked at the best undrafted players from both the 2000s and the 2010s , so now I'm going back and looking at the best undrafted players of the 1990s. Every time the NBA holds its annual draft, there are plenty of players who don't get their name called and go undrafted. Despite that, many undrafted players have gone on to have lengthy, successful careers that are "totally fly" or "hella phat" or other things people in the 90s would say. If you're still here after that, thank you, and let's get into this. These are the best undrafted players from each year of the 1990s. 1990: Scott Williams Just like last time, I'm starting this list off with a weak pool of undrafted players. There are literally only four players who went undrafted in 1990 that anything resembling an NBA career, with the best being Scott Williams. Williams attended No

NBA Team of the Week (3/14/21-3/20/21)

( NOTE :  Before I begin, I just wanted to give my condolences to the family of Elgin Baylor. Rest in Peace to one of the greatest players in the history of the game) It's Monday, you know what that means! It's time to take a look back at the past week and see who the best players were around the league. Selections are based mostly on the player's stats, but (minus the rookie of the week) their team's record during the week is also taken into consideration. Click here to check out last week's if you missed it . If not, let's get into this. Point Guard: Damian Lillard After a brief hiccup where they lost four straight to end February, the Portland Trail Blazers are back on track, as they've gone 7-2 in their last nine games. This includes this week's strong 3-1 outing, which has improved their record to 25-16 on the year, putting them at joint 5th in the West with the Nuggets. The return of CJ McCollum this week has obviously been huge for the team, but D

March Madness 2021: A Preview of Every Team in the Tournament

It's been longer the usual since we've had it, but March Madness is back! After 2020's NCAA Tournament was cancelled due to obvious reasons, we've managed to get a 2020-21 season in the midst of this pandemic, and after now we get the most exciting part of the season. Even if you don't follow college basketball, you probably get hype for March Madness every year. Now, with 68 teams in total in the tournament between the main bracket and the First Four, it's hard to be up to date with every team, especially the smaller school. So that's why I'm here. Here's a brief summary of the seasons of every team in the bracket, from the top rated schools in the country to the those competing in the First Four. First Four West #16: Norfolk State Starting off with one of the teams competing for one of the final four spots in the tournament, we have the Norfolk State Spartans. Last appearing in 2012 where they pulled off the biggest upset in the tournament's hi
