NBA Team of the Week (4/18/21-4/24/21)

It's Monday, you know what that means! It's time to take a look back at the past week and see who the best players were around the league. Selections are based mostly on the player's stats, but (minus the rookie of the week) their team's record during the week is also taken into consideration. Click here to check out last week's if you missed it . If not, let's get into this. Point Guard: Luka Dončić While they're in playoff contention right now, the Dallas Mavericks have been a bit disappointing this year. Having an early MVP front runner and one of the better centers in the league, I said before the season started that the Mavericks look like they have a bright future ahead of them. However, we haven't seen that bright future just yet. They're currently 6th in the West right now and hold a playoff spot, but you'd expect more from the team that has one of the absolute best players in the league right now. Things have been looking up in April, ...

Point Guard: Stephen Curry Starting off this week we have someone who has been absolutely on fire over the last few weeks in Stephen Curry. As I've mentioned the last few weeks, the Golden State Warriors have had a rough go of things this year. However, the last few weeks have seen them pick up steam, as they've gone 5-2 over their last seven games and currently sit at 28-29 on the year, putting them at 9th in the West. A big reason for their recent success has been Curry, who takes the point guard spot for the third straight week after a phenomenal recent stretch. In a week where...

Click here to check out last week's if you missed it . If not, let's get into this. Point Guard: Stephen Curry As I said last week, the Golden State Warriors have been going through a rough patch the last few years. While they're not nearly as bad as they were last season, injuries have kept the Warriors well below where they were just two years. Currently 25-28 on the year after a 2-2 week, the Warriors find themselves in 10th in the West, holding onto the final spot in the play-in tournament by just a game and a half. The Warriors are holding on by a thread, and it's been Stephen Curry who's been keeping them afloat this year. For the week, Curry averaged 3...

NBA Team of the Week (3/28/21-4/3/21)

Selections are based mostly on the player's stats, but (minus the rookie of the week) their team's record during the week is also taken into consideration. Click here to check out last week's if you missed it . If not, let's get into this. Point Guard: Stephen Curry After dominating the second half of the 2010s, the basketball gods have not looked kindly on the Golden State Warriors over the last few seasons. After last season was decimated by injuries, they once again find themselves short-handed without Klay Thompson for the second year in a row. As a result, the Warriors are having a rough season, as they're currently 23-26 on the year and are clinging on to a spot in the play-in tournament. A 1-2 performance this week doesn't help their situation, but if Stephen Curry keeps playing the way he did this week, they ...
