10 Best Players of the Week (11/19-11/25)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here. If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Damian Lillard Despite playing in the stacked Western Conference, the Portland Trail Blazers have been able to hold their own for the most part this season, currently holding the 4th best record in the conference with a 12-8 record. This week, the Blazers were able to improve their record big time after going 3-1, with Damian Lillard leading the way. For the week, Lillard averaged 28.3 points, 4 rebounds, and 5.3 assists while shooting 45% from the field, 42% from three-point range, and 91% from the free throw line. Kyrie Irving Everyone that wrote off the Boston Celtics after Gordon Hayward twisted his ankle 90 degrees around was dead wrong. Despite losing their second best player for the entire season and dea...

10 Best Players of the Week (11/12-11/18)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Devin Booker With all the drama the Phoenix Suns have been surrounded in this season with one of their best players publically stating (well, tweeting) that he didn't want to be there anymore, they've still managed to avoid the bottom of the Western Conference with a 6-11 record. While they still have a long way to go before they are a playoff team, they seem to be in the right direction with Devin Booker taking the lead. For the week, Booker averaged 29 points and 5.7 assists while shooting 49% from the field and 43% from three-point range.  DeMarcus Cousins The New Orleans Pelicans still haven't been able to find their groove this season (currently 8-8 on the season) but DeMarcus Cousins has cont...

5 NBA Careers Defined By Infamous Moments

Achievements & moments are what define NBA legacies. Michael Jordan will always be remembered for his five MVP awards and his six championships and for moments like the Shot over Craig Ehlo and the Flu Game. Kobe Bryan will be remembered for five championships and his 81-point game. Bill Russell will always be remembered for dominating the NBA through the 50s and 60s and winning 11 championships. However, some players don't get accolades that define their legacies. Some end up with infamous moments that cement their spots in NBA history. With that being said, here are five NBA careers defined by infamous moments. Ron Artest Moment: The Malice at the Palace Starting off this list is a player and an incident that I talked about as part of my list of players with infamous records . After being selected with the 16th overall pick by the Chicago Bulls in the 1999 NBA Draft, Ron Artest had carved out a solid legacy for himself. Through the first five years of his career, Ar...

10 Best Players of the Week (11/5-11/11)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, in the pocket, and out of sight, it's time to take a look at the best players of the last week. If you missed last week's, click here . If not, let's get into it, these are the 10 best players of the week. Harrison Barnes The Dallas Mavericks have about as bad of a start to the season as the possibly could, currently sitting at a 2-11 record and are tied with the Atlanta Hawks for the worst record in the NBA right now. However, one person who was a slight bright spot for the team was Harrison Barnes, who had a strong performance this week. For the week, Barnes averaged 27 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting 54% from the field and 57% from three-point range. If only played for a team that wasn't hot garbage. Kevin Durant As the Golden State Warriors continue to be one of the best teams in the NBA (surprising no one), Kevin Durant took the lead this week and helped the Warriors win both of their gam...

TRADE NEWS: Eric Bledsoe to Milwaukee for Greg Monroe!

After nearly three weeks of trade talk, dysfunction, and hair salon-related drama , Eric Bledsoe and the Phoenix Suns have finally parted ways. Following a disastrous start to the season where the Suns went winless after three games (two of which were losses by over 40 points), Bledsoe sent out a tweet that made it abundantly clear he did not want to be there . Following that, general manager Ryan McDonough dismissed Bledsoe from the team, signaling Bledsoe's time with the team was coming to an end very soon. And that time has come, as on November 7, Bledsoe was sent to the Milwaukee Bucks for Greg Monroe, a protected first round pick, and a second-round pick.  For the last few years, Eric Bledsoe has been one of the NBA's hidden gems and has become one of the NBA's most underrated players. Last year, Bledsoe averaged 21.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 43% from the field and 34% from three-point range. However, a cle...

The Philidelphia 76ers had a strong showing this week, winning all three of their games and improving to 5-4 on the week. There great week was mostly thanks to two specific players. The first of which was Joel Embiid. For the week, Embiid averaged 20.3 points, 10 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.3 steals, and 2 blocks per game while shooting 58% from the field. Stephen Curry As expected, the Golden State Warriors have straightened out following their early struggles in the season, currently sitting at the top of the Western Conference with a 7-3 record after going 2-1 on the week. Stephen Curry, as he was last week and has been for many years, was a big part of...
