NBA Team of the Week (11/10-11/16)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, it's time for me to give my picks for the Team of the Week. Click here to read last week's edition . If you want to go back and take a look at all the previous Team of the Week posts from the current season, then click here . So with that out of the way, this is the NBA Team of the Week. Point Guard: James Harden The Rockets have had a strong start to the season already, but this week they turned it up to 11 and went a perfect 4-0, improving their record to 10-3, the 2nd best in the Western Conference and only half a game behind 1st. Leading the way for the Rockets was James Harden, who's lackluster shooting hasn't been enough to slow him down, especially this week. For the week, Harden averaged 44.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 46% from the field and 40% from three-point range. Harden recorded over 45 points in two of the four games this week, the best of which was a 4...

NBA Team of the Week (11/3-11/9)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, it's time for me to give my picks for the Team of the Week. Click here to read last week's edition.  Now before I start, I just want to mention that, for these, I don't pick players who's teams performed poorly that week. If a player averages 40 points a game for a week, but his team does nothing but lose, then what's the point. That being said, D'Angelo Russell & Damian Lillard aren't getting the nods this week, but they will get reserve spots. So with that out of the way, this is the NBA Team of the Week. Point Guard: Luka Doncic After three underwhelming seasons, the Mavericks have had a strong start to the season, going 6-3 early in the year after going 3-1 this week. The addition of Kristaps Porzingis has proven to be very beneficial very quickly, but the true leader of the Mavericks has been the reigning Rookie of the Year in Luka Doncic. For the week, Doncic averaged 29.5 points, 12.3 rebou...

NBA Team of the Week (10/27-11/2)

With another week of the NBA season in the books, it's time for me to give my picks for the Team of the Week. Click here to read last week's edition . So with that out of the way, this is the NBA Team of the Week. Point Guard: Damian Lillard Following a disappointing end to last season when they got swept in the Conference Finals, a strong start to the 2019-20 season was necessary for the Trail Blazers to re-establish themselves as one of the top teams in the league. So far, they've been less than impressive, as they're currently 3-3 following a 2-2 outing this past week. While the team hasn't been anything special so far, Damian Lillard has still been performing at the top of his game, and this week was no different. For the week, Lillard averaged 28 points, 6 rebounds, 8.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 45% from the field and 43% from three-point range. Lillard's best performance of the week was a 23 point, 13 assist double-double to p...
